GrowerSELECT® motors feature a stressproof 1144 steel shaft, providing excellent protection from shaft breakage. Motors have permanently lubricated ball bearings for maintenance free long mechanical life.
The motors feature a robust electrical design enabling it to withstand adverse operating conditions. The motor’s centrifical starting switch is shielded giving it greater ability to withstand over spin conditions. For safety concerns, all motors also have manual overload protection for prevention of accidental restarting.
In additional to a start capacitor, a run capacitor has been added to this model to further increase energy efficiency (NEMA Premium Efficient).
