SDC 1511S

The 1511S is a single door application delayed egress lock. Useful for airports, public facilities, hospitals, rehab centers, and more. Its function is to restrict or delay unauthorized egress. When an unauthorized egress is detected, egress will be delayed by a field selectable duration. This allows time for facility personnel or security to arrive. The voice alert can be set to either to a safety message suitable for medical or rehab facilities or a security message which is more aggressive. Tone alerts can replace the voice messages. There is a 1 to 2 to second nuisance timer to prevent accidentally starting the egress timer, and the lock will automatically unlock upon a fire signal or power failure.
