ApplicationsWater systems…for residential, multiple housing, farmand commercial installations, where a 4″ 2 or 3-wiresubmersible motor or above-ground motor is used.FeaturesThe SPP-111P-3RL, SPP-233P & SPP-235P single-phaseprotectors include a unique microcontroller-based voltageand current-sensing circuit that constantly monitorsthe incoming power for fluctuations including overcurrentand undercurrent. When an abnormality, such as lossof suction, is detected, the control deactivates its outputrelay and directly disconnects the pump motor. The SPPthen begins its user-selectable restart delay (dry-wellrecovery) timer. When the timer counts to zero or poweris removed and reapplied, the SPP reactivates its outputrelay and turns the pump back on. An infrared LED communicatesdirectly with a handheld diagnostic tool calledthe Informer (sold separately). The Informer displays 16parameters including calibration point, trip point, runningpoints, and last fault.
