Packing Grease 5.3-Ounce Tube
This packing installation lubricant contains inert silica combined with selected polydimethyl silicone fluids. It is highly water repellent and resists oxidation. This quality lubricant is essentially non-toxic and non-melting, shows little tendency to dry out in service, and retains its room temperature consistency at temperatures from -40°-400° Fahrenheit. Also available in 3-ounce size.

- Can be applied by brushing or wiping. Clean up with mineral spirits.
- Insoluble in water, methanol, ethanol, or mineral oil, and soluble in Chlorothene SM, perchloroethylene, mineral spirits and methyl ethyl ketone.
- Not greatly affected by mineral oils, vegetable oils or air. It is greatly resistant to dilute acids and alkalines and to most aqueous solutions.
Usage and Safety Notes
- Should not be applied to any surface which will be painted or finished. Such coatings may not adhere to the silicone-treated surfaces. If contaminated by a silicone coating, parts can be wiped or washed with solvent or detergent.
- May cause slight temporary discomfort if accidentally rubbed into the eyes. It is essentially non-irritating to the skin.
