An alternative to a mag lock, this electric strike lowers your project expense because you don’t need to dismantle your surface vertical-rod exit devices, or install the mags. As many states are looking at outlawing maglocks, it also is a good choice to avoid any issues in the future. The Folger Adam 310-4-1 electric strike is for use on a pair of doors (without mullion) which are equipped with surface vertical-rod exit devices having a swinging, pullman style latchbolt when the spacing of the vertical rod is between 5-1/4″ and 6″.
