An alternative to a mag lock, this electric strike lowers your project expense because you don’t need to dismantle your surface vertical-rod exit devices, or install the mags. As many states are looking at outlawing maglocks, it also isa good choice to avoid any issues in the future. The Folger Adam 310-4-1 electric strike is for use on a pair of doors (without mullion) which are equipped with surface vertical-rod exit devices having a swinging, pullman style latchbolt when the spacing of the vertical rod is between 4-5/8″ and 5-3/8″.
