Heavy-duty steel deadbolt strike comes with extra security 3″ long screws to create a significantly stronger jamb point your deadbolt projects into. This adds stability to the door when locked, and helps guard against forced entries and kick-ins. The Don-Jo 2-SDS security strike is ideal for retrofitting standard deadbolt strikes which may have come loose from an attempted break-in, or a door jamb which has weakened over time. Security strike can also retrofit electric strikes with 4-7/8″ (H) x 1-1/4″ (W) faceplates.
