The AgraSlat™ is formulated for use in deep manure pits. Its blend of naturally occurring bacteria provides a 24/7 release of enzymes to liquefy solids and reduce pit crust. Producers will be able to pump pits lower and increase the manure holding capacity of deep pits while reducing flies and odors.
The secret is the unique delivery system. No mixing or measuring, just calculate pit capacity and insert the correct amount of slats into the pit. The slat itself is biodegradable and dissolves in the pit.

Deep pits containing less than 12 inches of retained bottom sludge.
- Add 2 AgraSlats™ to the storage system for every 200 head*
- Repeat every 180 days
Deep pits containing more than 12 inches of retained bottom sludge.
- Add 2 AgraSlats™ to the storage system for every 200 head*
- Repeat every 90-120 days until sludge levels are reduced to less than 12 inches
- Once depths are reduced to less than 12 inches, repeat every 180 days
*Place AgraSlats™ evenly throughout the system.

- Add 1 AgraSlat™ for every 80 head
- Repeat every 180 days
Crusted Systems
- Do not add AgraSlats when containment areas have firm, heavily-crusted accumulations
- Storage areas with heavy crust and large sludge accumulation require treatment with ACTIVATOR PLUS prior to placement of the AgraSlat™
- Follow label directions and add AgraSlat™ once crust has been liquefied
